I don't know how you get all this stuff Greg, but it is rather amazing!

In fairness to this guy, it appears that someone else has the Jesus is Coming quote and put that on his page as a comment.

I hope that the Governor is aware of what her executive directors are doing. It's a disgrace, frankly.

Will he be submitting his letter of resignation to the Governor on myspace as well?

If you Google Dennis Seavers, it shows he was the campaign manager for Sheri Van Horsen, who ran for the AZ House and lost. Looks like she is one of his "friends" on myspace, too. Ain't going to play well in Peoria.

Seems that Dennis is not that proud of his page. He has set the Profile to private.

As someone who worked at the lowest levels of the municipal government, we spent a goodly amount of time warning even the seasonal workers that any untoward behavior or action that embarrassed the city could lead to dismissal.

Imagine the things the teenage mind can say/do/advocate. This is just the type of thing I would have worried about...makes it all the more puzzling that it comes from an adult running a state office.

Yep - the account has been cancelled. This fellow is scurrying faster than a cockroach when the kitchen light is turned on.

What happened to the followup post you had yesterday, with the screenshot?

I took the screen shot post down. Once the story went national, I didn't want to look like I was piling on.
Greg

Just out of curiosity... I recognize the Margaret White quote from the movie Carrie, but where does the Alexander de Large quote come from?

Alex de Large quote comes from "A Clockwork Orange."

99 percent of Renaissance Festival geeks can get by with posting this crap on their myspace account. Of course they don't oversee a fingerprint card department.

Viewing his page is simple. Go to Google, type dennis_sinned, and click cache.

Awww ya bunch of whiners! Get a life!

Did you applaud the firing of a hero at
the Veterans Home?

Frida,

PERHAPS YOU FOUND THE EDITORIAL PAGE STORY
SUNDAY ABOUT CHILDREN DYING BECAUSE CHILD
PROTECTIVE SERVICE FAILED TO DO IT'S DUTY
ALSO WRITTEN BY WHINERS?

SINCERE REGRET FRIDA.

I DID NOT PAY ATTENTION

AJIBIK IS THE FREAK LOVER

SAME QUESTION.
EDITORIAL PAGE OF REPUBLIC WRITTEN BY
WHINERS?

Calm down, Nick. First of all, the guy hasn't been fired. No one here knows what if anything will happen to him for posting those attempts at humor on his myspace page. Second, why go after ajibik? It's not clear from the post who is being called a whiner. For all you know, that comment was directed at Greg, Frieda, Tim, etc.

Molehill, not mountain.

I agree with Dudewtf, you are making a mountain out of a molehill. Myspace is a social chat page. What state employees are not allowed Consitutional Free Speech Rights? He had a page made up of movie quotes and spoofs. I would like to know if any one of you calling for this guys head have ever done something embarrassing, and what is that comment about Sheri Van Horsen all about. In my recollection, she almost won that race. Why would you try to tie this non-story to her?

To those commenting on the Seavers fiasco: Please research the breadth and depth of the BOF before you make your comments. The BOF has set itself up as a Board of Decency, indicating that it-- somehow-- holds the key to proper behavior. Dennis Seavers' actions on MySpace are criominal in their intent-- and werenot, as he avers, meant as a joke for his peers. MySpace-- as all school children are continually warned, is an area rife with would-be molesters and pederasts, and Dennis Seavers, apparently, is one of them. His head needs to be place upon a platter. And then, with proper planning and oversight, the entire BOF process needs to be reviewed.

"I RULE U DONT"
and a kid giving the camera his middle finger is the new profile page for this guy. Wow, talk about giving it to the guv. Was he fired yet?

I wonder if he was the one who made the poster of a middle finger held up at Republican HQ. Just kidding. Two middle fingers, to boot.

Jesus! Leave the guy alone. The writings on his page were by him yes. The amusing thing about them, to his friends was that Mr. Seavers is the exact opposite of his personal description on his myspace page. For example, he is not East Indian as proclaimed on his site. Granted, his profile should have been set to private, that was a mistake. He is the most selfless, caring person I have ever met. Leave his personal life alone. He has always been a great gov. employee and though regardless, is not involved with the Big Brothers group. He is an upstanding citizen. Leave him alone already!
