Check out Janet on MSNBC discussing that asinine low flying jet "photo op." From the deer-in-headlights stare, and lame response, it's clear that she is in completely over her head. When you consider her response, remember that she wasn't ambushed by a reporter, she was invited into the studio to make her remarks and she had plenty of additional time to think while she watched the video package.
Mark my words, President Obama is going to get tired of having Janet Napolitano as the face of his administration.

I saw her live and was very surprised at how she came off. She seemed tired and slow unlike her usual self.
I also saw her speaking about the Swine Flu situation and at first thought Obama put her out there to help her save face, but thought she seemed out of touch there too.
I actually have to give her the bef=nefit of the doubt and think she must be exhausted and ill.
I may not like J-No's style, but never felt she was as dim as she seems lately.

Besides the panic factor, has anyone asked what carbon footprint is created by flying an empty 747 and a jet fighter all over the country just to take some happy-snaps? How much is this costing the taxpayers? Will someone please give the techno-savvy/computer literate president a copy of Photo Shop?

Right when Napolitano finishes, I think I hear Matt Lauer saying "That may be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard."

Didn't seem that bad to me. She seemed tired but given the flu issue I guess she would be. This one is a stretch.

I think Lauer was referring to the Jet situation, not Janet specifically.
Regardless, Even I thought "photoshop" when I heard it was a photo op.

From the screen capture above, Janet appears to be having more of an "intestinal discomfort issue". Just look at her face. Can you say Pepto please...Perhaps her Tamiflu dose did not agree with her system.

Lately, she has given Caroline Kennedy a run for her money with the use of "uhmmmm".

Out of the frying pan, and into the fire...oops.
I wonder if Rahm gave her the "no more screwups, you can't embarrass the boss anymore" talk?
