The Dinosaur is Dead

When I started Espresso Pundit in 2004, my friends said "dude, what's a blog."  Unfortunately, most software engineers said the same thing, so I was unable to find commercial blog software. I improvised espresso pundit by creating a website in Microsoft Frontpage and posting it to my Cox Internet account.  EP was never really a blog; it was a very long website. 

My technique was pretty clever in 2004, completely antiquated by 2005 and laughably primitive in 2006.  I don't think I would have ever updated it.  But that decision was made for me on November 9th when Cox abruptly stopped supporting FrontPage.  The old espresso pundit is completely frozen.  Welcome to the new espresso pundit.  (If you are unhappy that I was unable to post for a couple days, please contact Ivan Johnson.)

I'm still working out the bugs, but the new site should have permalinks, TrackBack and RSS feed.  I'll also have room for advertisements and a section for comments.
